    Friends and colleagues gathered at UBC’s Green College on April 17, 1998 to celebrate the awarding of the 1998 Academic of the Year Award to University of Victoria child and youth care professor Dr. Sibylle Artz. This is the fourth year the Confederation of University Faculty Associations of British Columbia (CUFA/BC) has given the award to recognize excellence in the generation, transmission, or implementation of ideas — the stock in trade of the university.
