Statement of Solidarity with Nipissing University Faculty Association

The Confederation of University Faculty Associations of British Columbia (CUFA BC) stands in solidarity with Nipissing University Faculty Association (NUFA) following impasse at the bargaining table.
Nipissing University Faculty Association seeks to improve pensions for faculty members and support research at Nipissing. These goals are compatible with both the dignity of faculty and the interests of the university itself. All faculty deserve respect and fair working conditions comparable to those of their colleagues in other institutions.

CUFA BC has sent a statement of solidarity to the Nipissing University Board of Governors encouraging the university bargaining team to avert this strike by negotiating a fair and reasonable settlement with NUFA.
